Provo, Utah — January 13, 2026

Angel Studios (NYSE: ANGX) has signed a long-term strategic partnership with The McDonough Company, securing a first-look deal on three upcoming feature films from actor-producers Neal and Ruvé McDonough.

The agreement builds on a string of recent collaborations between the two companies, including The Last Rodeo, The Shift, and Homestead, which has become one of the most-watched titles on Angel’s platform. Under the new deal, Angel will have first consideration on a broader slate of projects currently in development at The McDonough Company.

Among the projects in the pipeline is a film that reunites Neal McDonough with longtime creative collaborators Jon Avnet and Mykelti Williamson. The trio previously worked together on The Last Rodeo and on television series such as Justified and Boomtown, establishing a track record for character-driven, commercially viable storytelling.

“The McDonough Company is focused on making films centered on family, faith, and freedom,” Neal McDonough said. “Angel has proven to be a strong partner for bringing those kinds of stories to a wide audience.”

David Fischer, Angel’s Head of Acquisitions, said the deal reflects alignment between Angel’s content strategy and the interests of its Angel Guild, the company’s two-million-member community that helps guide greenlighting and distribution decisions.

McDonough’s acting career spans major film and television franchises, including Band of Brothers, Flags of Our Fathers, Minority Report, Marvel’s Captain America, and series such as Suits, Yellowstone, and Tulsa King. In recent years, he and Ruvé McDonough have expanded their footprint as independent producers, with multiple projects distributed through Angel Studios.

The partnership comes as Angel continues to deepen ownership of its most successful franchises. The company recently announced acquisitions tied to top-performing properties such as Homestead, strengthening its long-term film and television library.

Angel is also coming off a strong theatrical year. Its animated feature David debuted in theaters on December 19, 2025, delivering the highest opening ever for a faith-based animated film and finishing the year as the sixth-highest-grossing animated release domestically, with more than $72 million in box-office revenue.

Upcoming releases span a wide range of genres, including I Was a Stranger, a drama set during the Syrian Civil War; Solo Mio, a romantic comedy starring Kevin James, Kim Coates, and Alyson Hannigan; and Young Washington, a biopic of George Washington’s early years starring Kelsey Grammer, Mary-Louise Parker, and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Together, Angel and The McDonough Company are positioning their partnership as a long-term bet on values-driven content with mainstream reach—one that blends community-led financing, franchise ownership, and traditional theatrical distribution.
