June 4, 2025 - Lindon, Utah
Hypercraft, a Lindon, Utah-based developer of electric and hybrid powertrain systems, has raised $26 million in Series A funding at a post-money valuation of $106 million. The round was led by Stalwart Ventures, a Provo-based seed-stage venture firm formerly known as RevRoad Capital, which rebranded in May 2025. Strategic Development Fund (SDF)—the investment arm of Abu Dhabi’s EDGE Group PJSC—also participated. This follows a $6.5 million seed round raised in February 2023 from RevRoad Capital.

The capital will fund further development of Hypercraft’s software-defined mobility platform and an open-source ecosystem designed to simplify integration for OEMs and third-party developers.
Founded in 2021, Hypercraft builds and sells complete electric drive systems to both B2C and B2B buyers across a wide range of industries including on-road, off-road recreation, racing, resto-mod, fleet, and marine. Its powertrain packages include motors, battery management systems (BMS), high-voltage junction boxes, all wiring, software, CAN bus integration, display units, and throttles. Batteries—designed and built in-house as “HyperPack” units—are included and available in capacities from 20kWh to 120kWh.

In 2022, the company acquired California-based Stealth EV and launched the HyperPack battery line. That same year, it gained early traction in the marine space with clients such as Halevai Boats and Mayla Yachts.
The company has supported development of more than 20 vehicle platforms since 2023, spanning defense, performance, and marine sectors. This multi-industry presence positions Hypercraft as a key player in the shift from internal combustion engines to modular, software-led architectures.

“We're entering a critical new chapter for mobility,” said CEO and Co-Founder Jake Hawksworth. “This funding allows us to accelerate development in hybrid systems and intelligent powertrain control, while opening the platform to broader industry innovation.”
Hypercraft’s recent product launch, HyperLynk™, is a unified control architecture that supports more than 150 system components across legacy and modern communication protocols. The product is designed to help government and commercial integrators adapt to fast-moving tech shifts in the vehicle landscape.
Stalwart Ventures Executive Managing Director David Mann cited the company’s ability to “adapt and excel through strong headwinds” as key to its long-term backing. “Hypercraft’s platform has the potential to reshape the modern automotive sector.”

SDF’s investment aligns with its mandate to bring innovative tech to the UAE and broader regions. “We see Hypercraft as a strategic partner capable of impacting mobility and defense ecosystems,” said Mohamed Al Mazrouei, SDF’s Chief Portfolio Management Officer.
As the auto and defense industries shift from combustion engines to modular, software-defined architectures, Hypercraft is betting that its flexible platform will help manufacturers remain agile.
“We’re not just replacing engines—we’re helping OEMs rethink how vehicles are built,” Hawksworth added.
