American Fork, UT – August 21, 2025
LiveView Technologies (LVT) has expanded its lineup of rapidly deployable security tools with a wall-mounted system that supports up to three cameras positioned as far as 300 feet from the mount. The new design offers organizations expanded visibility around perimeters without requiring additional mobile units or traditional wired infrastructure.
The wall-mounted units mirror the company’s flagship trailers by including deterrence features—strobe lights, speakers, and floodlights—while running entirely on cellular connections. That independence from building networks means faster installation and fewer cybersecurity risks compared to conventional hardwired systems.

“This extended view lets customers cover more ground with fewer units,” said Steve Lindsey, LVT’s CTO. “It gives security teams flexibility in places where trailers don’t fit, while still integrating with our mobile deployments.”
Tacoma Community College has already put the new wall mount to use. “The wall mount gave us visibility in a location where a traditional setup just wouldn’t work,” said Brandon Kilgore, Executive Director of Emergency Management and Campus Safety. “It’s been a smart, efficient way to enhance situational awareness and better protect our campus.”
Building on Two Decades of Innovation
LVT’s latest move fits into a 20-year arc of adapting security technology for flexible, real-world use. The American Fork company started in 2005 when co-founders Ryan Porter and Bob Brenner streamed construction sites so builders and homeowners could monitor projects remotely. That practical innovation laid the groundwork for today’s solar-powered mobile units, now deployed by Fortune 100 companies, municipalities, and campuses across the U.S.
The company’s mobile trailers—deployed in minutes to parking lots, retail centers, and remote roads—pair cameras, floodlights, strobes, and two-way audio with a cloud-based video management system. Earlier this year, LVT added AI features such as spotlight tracking, talk-down deterrence, and keyword search, and announced an integration with Axon’s Fūsus platform to give law enforcement direct real-time access to LVT video feeds.
Against that backdrop, the wall-mounted option reflects not a pivot but a continuation: adding versatility for customers who need coverage where trailers can’t go.
Wall Mounted LVT - Key Benefits
- Extends LVT’s core principle of deploy-anywhere security.
- Reduces infrastructure costs by covering more ground per unit.
- Expands use cases to building perimeters, campuses, and dense urban areas.
With more than 200 employees and a client base that spans retail, logistics, education, and public safety, LVT continues to evolve from its garage origins into one of Utah’s most visible security technology companies.
