Utah-based Tech-Moms just landed national recognition: the Code for America Innovator Award in the Community Partnership category at the Code for America Summit in Washington D.C.

Tech-Moms, the Salt Lake City-based non-profit known for helping women and underserved individuals transition into tech careers, was recognized for its work bridging public and private sectors to drive workforce development. The award celebrates Tech-Moms’ practical impact—delivering accessible training, mentorship, and career support to people often overlooked in tech hiring pipelines.

Founders Mikel Blake, Robbyn Scribner, and Trina Limpert accepted the award in person at the Code for America Summit.

“It's an honor to be recognized by Code for America, an organization committed to using tech to build stronger communities and address our nation’s most pressing challenges," stated Robbyn Scribner, Tech-Moms Co-Founder. "We are so grateful for the public entities we partner with here in Utah, and we are looking forward to collaborating with organizations across the country that we connected with during the summit. Great things are happening in the world of Civic Tech!”

The award comes with national exposure, opportunities for collaboration, and a seat at the table in conversations about digital equity and public-private innovation.
