Salt Lake City, UT – August 14, 2025
Club Ability, in partnership with Weber State University and supported by Rancho Markets, is stepping up its mission to make STEM accessible and inspiring with the upcoming "Triumph in Technology"—a free, hands-on event for families happening Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Glendale Middle School (1441 W. Andrew Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84104).
What’s New This Year
This year, the event features two brand-new career-ready experiences:
- Professional Résumé Review Station: HR professionals will be on-site offering personalized feedback to polish résumés and prep families for real-world tech opportunities.
- 3D Printer Room: Attendees can dive into the tech stack—from CAD design to the magic of 3D printing—bringing their ideas to life layer by layer.
Interactive STEM Zones for Every Age and Skill
Beyond these additions, the event includes four immersive zones, packed with interactive, high-impact activities:
- Coding & AI: Build bots, explore logic, and experiment with artificial intelligence.
- Digital Design & VR: Create digital art, jump into virtual environments, and shape the future one pixel at a time.
- Robotics: Program, tinker, and control robots in real time.
These experiences are designed for all ages—from curious kids to aspiring adults—and all skill levels.
A Mission Grounded in Inclusion & Empowerment
Club Ability doesn’t just want participants to play with gadgets—they want real learning and lasting impact. As Founder and Executive Director Juliette Bautista says:
“We want to empower families to imagine a future in tech by offering real tools, educational access, and culturally meaningful experiences.”

In a previous TechBuzz profile article, Bautista highlighted representation gaps in the state's tech sector. Her work stems from real-world need—particularly among low-income and Latino families, as well as those with special needs. Club Ability originally stemmed from her noticing a lack of accessible coding programs when she moved to Utah from Peru, and she’s grown it quickly to serve communities in both Spanish and English.
