Provo, Utah - June 15, 2025

Caselle, a Provo-based provider of government accounting and utility billing software, today announced its acquisition of Dallas Data Systems, a Pottstown, Pennsylvania-based company known for municipal software and high-touch client support.

The acquisition formalizes a decades-long partnership between the two companies and significantly expands Caselle’s regional footprint and service capacity. Customers of Dallas Data Systems will now gain access to Caselle’s integrated suite of government solutions, enhanced product capabilities, and a broader customer success network—all while continuing to receive the personal support they’ve come to expect.

“This move is about scale with continuity,” said Scott Cook, Caselle's CEO. “Dallas Data has earned deep trust with its clients, and they share our values around service, integrity, and community. We’re thrilled to bring our teams together and strengthen our ability to serve local governments nationwide.”

Founded over 30 years ago, Dallas Data Systems has built a strong reputation for customer-first software tailored to the operational needs of cities, boroughs, and townships. The company’s specialized knowledge in regional government workflows complements Caselle’s scalable platform.

“Joining Caselle allows us to bring even more value to the clients we’ve served for decades,” said Matt Dallas, Founder and President of Dallas Data Systems. “Our teams already work well together—now we can move faster and offer more, without losing the relationships that matter most.”

Founded by the Hutchings Family in 1978 and based in Provo, Utah, Caselle has served local governments and special service districts across the United States delivering purpose-built software to increase efficiency and transparency in municipal operations. It is part of Govineer Solutions, a unified platform of government-focused software companies backed by Peterson Partners, a Cottonwood Heights-based private equity firm with $2.9 billion in assets under management. The acquisition aligns with Govineer’s strategy of assembling best-in-class providers to modernize public sector operations across finance, utilities, permitting, and civic engagement.
