Cottonwood Heights, Utah – July 1, 2025

DASH, an AP automation and document management company based in Germantown, Wisconsin, has merged with S4i Systems, a San Clemente, CA-based provider of compliance and content management solutions, to form SMRTR whose headquarters is now in Cottonwood Heights, UT. The new company brings together two established players in business process automation to serve manufacturing and food & beverage companies across North America.

The merger combines DASH’s expertise in accounts payable processing and document automation with S4i’s strengths in regulatory compliance and supplier management. Together, SMRTR offers cloud-based solutions that help customers streamline operations, reduce paper use, and meet complex compliance requirements.

“Customers have consistently told us they want fewer vendors and more complete solutions,” said Susanne Moore, CEO of SMRTR. “This merger delivers exactly that—a single-source platform that addresses operational efficiency and compliance across the enterprise.”

Founded in 1998 in Germantown Wisconsin, DASH focused on automating accounts payable and document workflows for the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Known for ERP integrations and practical, compliance-ready tools, DASH helped customers improve financial accuracy and reduce manual processes.

S4i Systems, founded in 2002 in San Clemente, CA, specializes in automation for the food & beverage industry. Its platforms support regulatory documentation, supply chain traceability, and food safety standards compliance.

The company will continue to support existing customers and product lines from both legacy organizations. Customers will retain their current account teams while gaining access to new capabilities.

SMRTR will maintain a fully remote workforce and keep all existing customer contracts in force under the new brand.
