Salt Lake City, Utah — November 3, 2025
Everee, the Salt Lake City-based payroll technology company simplifying how businesses pay workers, announced the launch of the Flex Platform, a real-time payroll system that allows companies to pay workers instantly with no batching, no delays, and no fixed pay schedules.
The Flex Platform expands on Everee’s previous innovations, including daily pay and its AI-powered Auto Payroll system introduced in 2023. With Flex, the company moves beyond fixed payroll cycles entirely, enabling fully compliant payroll runs triggered automatically as work is completed.

“Pay cycles were created for a different era,” said Brett Barlow, CEO of Everee. “Today’s workforce expects flexibility and speed. The Flex Platform gives companies the power to run payroll at the speed of their operations.”
Designed for staffing agencies, gig platforms, and businesses with hourly or shift-based workers, the Flex Platform automatically handles gross-to-net calculations, multi-state tax compliance, and real-time payment processing. Payroll can be triggered by events such as an approved shift or completed job, ensuring employees are paid immediately without manual intervention.

Everee also offers Flex Credit, a built-in financing feature allowing businesses to fund payroll upfront and repay Everee once client payments are received—addressing cash-flow challenges common in staffing and gig sectors.
Everee was the first payroll software to offer a daily pay cycle. With this launch, the company now offers the ability to remove pay cycles altogether for businesses that need more flexibility.
Founded in 2018 by finance and technology veterans, Everee is led by CEO Brett Barlow and President and COO Ron Ross. The company raised a $10 million Series A in 2020 from Origin Ventures and Signal Peak Ventures and now serves over 1,500 clients nationwide, processing more than $1.7 billion in annual payroll.
