Fortem Technologies today announced it has been selected by Lockheed Martin to deploy its counter-drone systems in support of critical infrastructure protection missions.

Under the agreement, Fortem will deliver its TrueView™ radar sensors and DroneHunter® autonomous interceptors, integrated with Lockheed Martin’s Sanctum C-UAS Mission Management platform. The combined solution provides persistent, layered defense against unauthorized and hostile drones across sensitive environments.

The selection reinforces Fortem’s growing role as a trusted provider of operational counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems as demand accelerates globally.

“Lockheed Martin’s decision to partner with Fortem reflects the maturity and real-world performance of our technology,” said CEO Jon Gruen. “We’ve spent years proving our systems in conflict zones and at high-profile events. This partnership brings that same proven capability to protecting critical infrastructure at scale.”

The award builds on a series of recent milestones highlighting Fortem’s momentum in both defense and homeland security markets. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recently selected Fortem to help secure venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup—marking the company’s second consecutive FIFA deployment. In parallel, the U.S. Army awarded Fortem a three-year, $18 million contract to deliver counter-drone systems and support services across global Army installations.

Together, these wins underscore a broader shift toward field-proven, autonomous systems capable of detecting, tracking, and mitigating drone threats in complex operational environments.

“As drone threats evolve, customers are moving beyond experimental solutions to systems that are deployed, trusted, and ready today,” Gruen added. “Fortem is built for that mission.”
