Lehi, Utah – January 8, 2026

Silicon Slopes and Visit Salt Lake today unveiled the featured speaker lineup for SUMMIT, the four-day global innovation festival arriving in downtown Salt Lake City February 4–7, 2026. In celebration of Silicon Slopes’ tenth Tech Summit and Visit Salt Lake’s third Winter Roundup, this year’s SUMMIT brings together founders, creators, investors, and cultural visionaries for a citywide celebration of the collision between tech, tourism, culture, and community.

The 2026 SUMMIT speaker lineup includes:

  • Dan and Mac Reynolds – Imagine Dragons frontman and Night Street Games co-founders
  • Jared and Jerusha Hess - Brigham Young University alumni and the filmmakers behind last year's hit A Minecraft Movie as well as enduring cultural touchstones including Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre and Austenland.
  • Will “King Willonious” Hatcher – Writer, comedian, one of TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in AI
  • Kenny Ortega – Emmy-winning director and choreographer (“High School Musical,” “Descendants”)
  • Sean Desmond – CEO, nCino
  • Henry Schuck – CEO, Gong
  • Jean Oelwang – CEO, Virgin Unite
  • Kat Kennedy – Kickstart Ventures
  • Rob Keith – Salesforce Ventures
  • Kimmy Paluch – BetaBoom

“SUMMIT’s expanded programming reflects Utah’s evolution as a competitive innovation hub,” said Clint Betts, CEO of Silicon Slopes. “We’re creating unprecedented opportunities for meaningful connections between founders, investors, and industry leaders while showcasing the breadth of what Utah has to offer. Every session, keynote, and activation connects back to our core theme: innovation driving the future and a shared ascent toward what’s next.”

Betts emphasized that AI is rewriting everything. “We’re bringing in the people building multimodal agents, the CIOs figuring out what ‘AI-ready’ actually means, and the CROs using AI to transform how revenue gets generated. Not theory. What’s working right now,” he said.

“We’ve got investors breaking down where value is actually being created in AI and what it takes to raise capital in today’s environment. People strategy looks completely different when AI is in the room, and we’re having honest conversations about what that means for leaders and teams. And we’re going beyond tech—gaming, music, film, comedy. The creative industries are colliding with technology in ways we’re only starting to understand.”

Across four days, SUMMIT programming spans innovation tracks in technology, sports, arts, culture, and gaming, along with pitch opportunities for startups. Between sessions, the experiential hall and curated networking experiences are designed to turn chance encounters into meaningful connections.

The festival culminates on Saturday, February 7, when Winter Roundup transforms downtown Salt Lake into one of the city’s largest outdoor celebrations.

“Working alongside Silicon Slopes has expanded our ability to drive economic impact and showcase the best of what Salt Lake has to offer,” said Kaitlin Eskelson, CEO of Visit Salt Lake. “This is a place where Olympic legacy, multimedia innovation, and next-gen storytelling collide. Combined with Winter Roundup, SUMMIT demonstrates that Salt Lake is a must-visit destination for global visionaries across industries.”
