Salt Lake City, Utah - January 27, 2026

An evening networking and demonstration event focused on neurotechnology will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the U of U's Technology Licensing Office, 303 Chipeta Way in Salt Lake City.

As part of the Tech Tuesday networking series, hosted by the Technology Licensing Office, the event is designed to highlight innovation in neurotechnology and bring together members of Utah’s growing neurotech ecosystem. The University of Utah has played a longstanding role in advancing neurotechnology research and commercialization. As the neurotech sector continues to expand globally, Utah-based companies have increasingly gained recognition for their contributions to the field. The event aims to showcase that activity while fostering collaboration among industry, academia, and investors.

Participants are expected to include neurotech employees, founders, entrepreneurs, students, faculty, investors, policy-makers, and other stakeholders. Organizers note that the networking format is intended to support recruiting, investment discovery, and professional relationship-building across the community.

Among the featured technologies will be work from Jake George’s lab (Utah NeuroRobotics Lab with Jacob A. George, as its director), which recently announced a new research partnership with Meta. The collaboration is focused on advancing human-computer interaction technologies with the goal of improving accessibility.

Companies interested in demonstrating their technology at the event are invited to apply in advance.

The event is sponsored by the University of Utah, with support from the Technology Licensing Office and the Utah System of Higher Education Deep Tech Initiative, which helped establish the Utah NeuroTechnology Training Program. Organizers say the event aligns with broader efforts to recruit and retain neurotech talent in Utah and ensure that graduates of the training program meet workforce needs across the sector.

The 21+ event can accommodate 200 attendees. It will include complimentary appetizers and drinks, with free parking available on levels 2 and 3 of the parking garage.
