Bluffdale, Utah — March 18, 2026

Following recent manufacturing and financing milestones, Vector partners with Wrap to integrate non-lethal response technologies into next-generation unmanned systems for defense and public safety missions.

Vector is continuing a run of momentum across defense and unmanned systems with a new strategic partnership—this time teaming with Wrap Technologies, Inc. to expand into drone-enabled non-lethal and counter-UAS solutions.

The move builds on a series of recent milestones for Vector, including its collaboration with SR2 Defense Systems to localize manufacturing of U.S. attritable drone systems in Saudi Arabia, and a newly secured $20 million loan from JPMorgan Chase to scale domestic drone production.

That financing is being used to expand Vector’s Utah manufacturing footprint, strengthen U.S.-based supply chains, and increase production of its small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), including its Hammer platform that is designed for scalable deployment across military and law enforcement missions.

Taken together, these moves point to a clear trajectory and momentum: Vector is rapidly positioning itself as a vertically integrated provider of unmanned systems spanning manufacturing, deployment, and now, expanded operational capabilities through strategic partnerships.

The collaboration with Wrap brings together complementary strengths. Vector contributes expertise in unmanned tactical hardware, command-and-control systems, and operator-focused training. Wrap adds its Non-Lethal Response (NLR) platform, along with drone-enabled technologies such as Drone as First Responder (DFR) and the DFR-X interdiction system.

From Vector’s perspective, the partnership is about building complete, mission-ready systems—not standalone tools.

Andy Yakulis, CEO and Co-Founder, Vector

“Modern operational environments require technology, training, and tactical integration to be more precise and move at a faster speed,” said Andy Yakulis, Co-Founder and CEO of Vector. “This partnership allows us to combine Vector’s experience in unmanned systems and tactical training with Wrap’s Non-Lethal Response platform to create solutions that will enhance mission effectiveness.”

Enhancing Operational Readiness Through Training and Integration

Beyond devices, Wrap brings a full operational ecosystem that complements Vector’s mission-ready approach. Its WrapTactics platform delivers short, scenario-based training modules designed around human performance science, ensuring officers and operators retain critical skills under stress. Unlike traditional programs, WrapTactics focuses on decision-making in real-world scenarios, covering the full lifecycle of an incident, from non-lethal intervention to stabilization and custody. When integrated with Vector’s unmanned systems and tactical hardware, this platform-level approach ensures that technology is paired with operator expertise, creating cohesive, field-ready solutions that improve safety, effectiveness, and outcomes for both personnel and the public.

The companies will collaborate across engineering, system integration, operational training, and commercialization to accelerate deployment of next-generation drone-enabled response systems. Initial focus areas include:

  • Drone-enabled non-lethal intervention and remote restraint
  • Human-in-the-loop counter-UAS systems, with a path toward greater autonomy
  • Integrated kinetic and non-kinetic counter-drone capabilities
  • Training for public safety and defense drone operations

Wrap frames the opportunity as part of a broader shift toward earlier, more controlled intervention.

Jared Novick, President and CEO, Wrap Technologies

“Our vision for NLR extends far beyond a single device,” said Jared Novick, President of Wrap. “It is about creating an integrated ecosystem of technologies, training, and operational doctrine that allows officers and operators to intervene earlier and resolve situations before they escalate.”

The partnership will also include joint demonstrations, validation exercises, and coordinated engagement with U.S. federal agencies, law enforcement organizations, and international partners. In parallel, the companies intend to engage on policy and regulatory frameworks to support responsible adoption of drone-enabled non-lethal and counter-UAS technologies.

For Vector, the Wrap collaboration is the latest step in a broader expansion already underway. From scaling domestic manufacturing and securing capital to localizing production with allied partners overseas, the company is steadily extending its reach across the evolving landscape of modern defense and public safety operations.

Strategic Footprint and Manufacturing

Wrap Technologies is headquartered in Miami, Florida, serving as the central hub for corporate operations, strategic planning, and executive leadership. The company also maintains a nationwide network of certified instructors for BolaWrap®, WrapVision®, WrapReality®, and WrapTactics® training programs. Its state-of-the-art 20,000-square-foot facility in Norton, Virginia, located in the Project Intersection Industrial Park, functions as the U.S. manufacturing and distribution center, where the BolaWrap® 150 and other public safety technologies are produced and readied for deployment.

That system-level approach aligns directly with Vector’s operating model: pairing hardware, training, and deployment into cohesive solutions that can be fielded in real-world environments.
