Deal integrates Scythe Sight® AI and M.52 mower into ASI’s Mobius-powered industrial fleet, expanding automation across construction, agriculture, and landscaping.

Autonomous Solutions Inc. (ASI), a Mendon, Utah-based industrial vehicle automation and developer of the Mobius autonomous fleet management system, has acquired Scythe Robotics, the Longmont, Colorado-based company behind advanced, commercial-grade autonomous solutions for landscaping. The move adds Scythe’s AI-powered computer vision system, Scythe Sight®, and its all-electric autonomous mower, the M.52, to ASI’s growing portfolio, accelerating innovation across off-road and industrial vehicles.

Jack Morrison, Co-founder and CEO, Scythe

“With complementary missions, both ASI and Scythe create autonomy that works in the real world every day,” said Jack Morrison, Scythe cofounder and CEO. “By joining forces, we can scale the impact of M.52 and bring our cutting-edge AI to a wider range of industries, delivering efficiency, reliability, and labor leverage for customers.”

ASI CEO Mel Torrie added, “For 25 years, ASI has deployed autonomous vehicles where safety and reliability are critical. Scythe’s AI and nationwide deployment experience will help us develop the next generation of autonomous equipment across multiple industrial sectors. Their team also brings fresh perspective and a customer-first culture that perfectly complements ASI’s approach.”

Founded in 2018, Scythe has already made a mark in sustainable outdoor care. Its M.52 mower cut nearly 2 billion square feet in 2025 alone across 30 states, all while operating autonomously and electric. The company will continue as a brand within ASI Landscaping, with leadership taking on strategic roles to integrate technology and accelerate growth. ASI will maintain Scythe’s Longmont, CO, office alongside its expanding Utah and Texas operations.

ASI’s Mobius platform allows a single operator to control multiple vehicles remotely, under challenging conditions. By integrating Scythe Sight® and M.52, ASI strengthens its ability to deliver smart, scalable, autonomous solutions across construction, agriculture, landscaping, and beyond.
