Mobile, Rapid-Deployment Gate Adds Automated Monitoring and Operational Insight

American Fork, Utah — March 10, 2026

LiveView Technologies (LVT) has introduced GuardGate, a portable security barrier designed to regulate access to restricted commercial areas while capturing automated, real-time operational data.

The system is engineered for rapid deployment at distribution centers, drop lots, storage yards, and other logistics sites where organizations must balance security, compliance, and operational efficiency. GuardGate supplements on-site personnel by deterring unauthorized vehicle access while creating a comprehensive digital record of entry and exit events.

Unlike traditional gate infrastructure, which can require months of construction and supporting utilities, GuardGate is designed as a drop-and-go solution deployable within hours. The platform enables remote visual validation via integrated cameras, two-way intercom communication, and remote gate control. Operators can also automate opening and closing schedules and maintain a full log of every gate event for security and compliance documentation.

According to Matt Kelley, GuardGate expands LVT’s security platform beyond surveillance and deterrence into operational intelligence.

“LVT’s solutions provide full coverage of diverse environments with capabilities proven to deter crime,” Kelley said. “GuardGate extends these capabilities to not only stop unauthorized vehicles but also streamline site logistics. With clearer visibility at checkpoints, teams can understand traffic patterns and significantly reduce investigation times, transforming security data into actionable operational insights.”

The launch comes amid increasing concern over supply chain crime. North American cargo theft was estimated at $725 million in 2025, prompting many organizations to increase security around logistics facilities. However, traditional guard-based monitoring can be expensive. Continuous coverage can exceed $100,000 annually for a single unarmed guard and more than $400,000 for an armed, specialized guard, excluding the cost of constructing guard shacks and supporting infrastructure.

Steve Lindsey, Co-founder and Chief Strategist, LVT

“Organizations no longer have to sacrifice personnel safety and cargo security to maintain operational cost efficiency,” said Steve Lindsey, co-founder and chief strategist at LVT. “Remote sites that previously could not justify dedicated security infrastructure can now deploy advanced deterrence and video recording capabilities at a fraction of the cost.”

During beta testing, one retail customer reportedly reduced guard expenditures by more than 30 percent at high-traffic distribution centers while nearly eliminating theft at smaller delivery locations using GuardGate.

The solution integrates customizable surveillance cameras and AI-driven monitoring designed to detect unauthorized activity, alert security personnel, and automatically compile incident records to accelerate investigations. GuardGate can also help organizations meet insurance requirements that mandate controlled access points or a documented physical security presence.

This news follows a string of recent milestones for LVT, including the launch of LPR powered by Insighta strategic shift toward Intelligent Site Management, and LVT’s top ranking as the Innovative Leader in the 2025 Frost Radar™ for Mobile Surveillance.
