Salt Lake City, Utah — August 27, 2026

LoanPro is bringing its unconventional Salt Flats Summit back to Utah September 16-18, expanding the invite-only gathering to as many as 500 lending and credit executives after the event sold out with 200 attendees in 2025.

Now in its third year, the summit will split programming between Salt Lake City's Olympic Oval and the Bonneville Salt Flats, replacing the traditional fintech conference formula of hotel ballrooms and exhibit halls with a mix of executive discussions, product showcases, outdoor activities and networking.

Summit at a glance

  • Dates: Sept. 16-18, 2026
  • Locations: Olympic Oval and Bonneville Salt Flats
  • Attendance: Up to 500 lending and credit executives
  • Format: Invite-only, with no traditional vendor booths
  • Focus: Lending, payments, artificial intelligence, fraud, compliance and financial technology

The summit will open Sept. 16 with a reception at the Olympic Oval in Kearns, the speed-skating venue constructed for the 2002 Winter Olympics. LoanPro CEO Rhett Roberts will join Olympic speed-skating medalist Derek Parra and 2034 Winter Olympic Games CEO Brad Wilson for a discussion about competition, performance and what it takes to win at the highest level.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to skate or curl at the Olympic venue in Ogden before heading to the Bonneville Salt Flats the following morning.

The second day moves the conference into the open salt desert, a roughly 30,000-acre expanse that has served as the backdrop for land-speed records for more than a century.

LoanPro's programming will include discussions about the future of North American credit, artificial intelligence infrastructure in production and the rebuilding of payments and loan-origination technology stacks.

Speakers include executives from LoanPro, Mastercard, Stripe, AWS, Moov and Jack Henry, along with representatives from Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity. The afternoon will shift from conference sessions to activities on the salt flats, followed by an outdoor dinner, customer awards and a performance by the band LifeHouse.

The final day will feature three concurrent tracks focused on payment-rail strategy, AI-driven fraud and preparation for regulatory examinations.

“We have had excellent feedback that this unique event is truly unlike any other,” said Roberts. “We have created the ideal conditions for people to show up as their genuine selves. The content is superb, more conversations are quality, authentic relationships are built, and more deals get done here than at any other conference in the industry.”

LoanPro launched the Salt Flats Summit in 2024 as an alternative to conventional fintech conferences. The company designed the gathering around direct conversations among founders, technology executives and product leaders from credit unions, banks and fintech lenders.
