FMSI (Financial Management Software, Inc.), a provider of branch performance and workforce management software for banks and credit unions, has introduced two premium add-ons to its RelationshipOS platform: Pulse, an AI-powered analytics tool, and Surveys, which captures member and customer feedback following branch visits.

RelationshipOS brings FMSI's tools together under a single login. The new additions address two aspects of branch operations: helping financial institution leaders interpret performance data and giving them more immediate insight into customer experiences.

Pulse allows branch managers, operations leaders, and executives to ask questions about branch performance using natural language. Users can query information about employee productivity, customer wait times, lobby traffic, and abandoned visits, then receive answers accompanied by charts.

The tool operates using the data and access permissions already established within an institution's FMSI environment, eliminating the need for a separate data setup. Users can save frequently accessed views to My Boards and share them with their teams.

Pulse also includes preconfigured scorecards covering branches, employees, products, lobby traffic, and cross-selling activity.

FMSI said some clients previously needed to pull four to six separate reports and manually compare figures to answer a single operational question. Pulse is intended to reduce that process to a direct query. The product follows a beta program FMSI announced in July with VyStar Credit Union.

The second addition, Surveys, collects feedback from members and customers shortly after a branch visit. Responses are associated with the specific visit, branch, and employee involved, allowing managers to examine service experiences at both the individual and location levels.

That information can help managers identify employees for recognition, pinpoint coaching opportunities, compare service consistency across branches, and follow up on negative experiences while details are still fresh.

“Branch leaders have never been short on data, but getting a straight answer from it usually meant waiting on a report or building one yourself,” said Jacob Reeves, general manager of FMSI. He described Pulse as a way for executives to query operational information directly and save frequently used views for ongoing monitoring.

Surveys is designed to give financial institutions an opportunity to address service problems before they surface in public reviews.

“Too often, a credit union finds out a branch visit went badly when it shows up as a review online,” said Sean O’Neill, head of growth at FMSI. “Surveys gives them the chance to hear it from the member first, while there's still time to make it right.”

Both Pulse and Surveys are available as premium add-ons to FMSI clients.

FMSI is headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where it operates as an independent financial technology company following a divestiture completed at the end of 2025, as covered by TechBuzz. The financial technology company is part of Salt Lake City-based Solen Software Group. The company, which has served banks and credit unions for more than 20 years, relaunched in February 2026 with a renewed focus on branch performance and workforce management software. It serves more than 140 financial institutions across the United States. Its Utah operations and independent status provide the foundation for its current product development efforts, including the recent introduction of Pulse and Surveys.
