Provo, Utah — June 26, 2026

ReVroom, the Utah-based marketplace for rebuilt and branded title vehicles, today announced the launch of ReVroom Reports, a VIN-based damage history and transparency tool built specifically for the rebuilt and branded car market. Buyers can now enter any vehicle identification number and receive a structured analysis of that vehicle's damage history, pricing context, and key record details before making a purchase decision.

The launch addresses a gap the Provo startup has been working toward since its founding: the majority of buyers in the rebuilt title market have historically transacted with limited visibility into a vehicle's prior damage or the quality of its repair.

The ReVroom Reports landing page, which Knudsen designed herself in under a week. Users enter a VIN, mileage, list price, and location to generate a damage history and pricing analysis for any rebuilt or branded title vehicle.

"We know that the people least able to recover from a bad buy are the ones who need this value the most: college students, young growing families, people starting over," said Paige Knudsen, co-founder and CEO of ReVroom. "No one should buy their car without it, but before today, most people had to."

Knudsen said rebuilt title vehicles can sell for up to 50 percent below clean-title market prices, making them attractive options for budget-conscious buyers. That discount, however, has historically come with significant information asymmetry. ReVroom Reports are designed to close that gap regardless of whether a seller lists on the ReVroom platform.

Each report draws from a range of third-party data sources, including auction house records, where branded vehicles are typically sold before being acquired and rebuilt by dealers. It layers ReVroom's proprietary damage analysis on top. That analysis includes a graphic showing exactly where a vehicle sustained damage, graded by severity (minor, moderate, or severe), along with pricing context comparing the vehicle against clean-title equivalents that have recently sold in the market. A QR code within the report links to additional detail pages where available, including pre-repair photos.

The product also extends ReVroom's reach geographically. The marketplace's current inventory is concentrated in Utah, but reports can be generated for any VIN from any seller in any location, allowing the company to begin fulfilling its transparency mission beyond its existing footprint.

Knudsen said the company is already beta testing a physical version of the reports, posted in the windows of rebuilt-title vehicles on participating dealer lots, similar to a manufacturer's window sticker, to gauge buyer response and the ease of conversion at the point of sale.

To mark the launch, ReVroom is offering the first 500 reports free as part of its "Don't Buy Blind" campaign. Pricing for future reports is expected to land below $25, with the company's stated goal of keeping the product as accessible as possible. Sellers who list directly on ReVroom will continue to have the transparency built into their listings at no added cost to buyers.

Knudsen told TechBuzz the timing is intentional. "There's all this publicity around affordable cars right now. Everyone is discovering that Americans really want them. But there's a canyon of difference between affordable and cheap. At that price point, buyers should still be able to have a back seat, cargo space, and a vehicle they can trust."

ReVroom, which has grown its site traffic roughly 40 percent month over month and recently crossed 400 registered user accounts, according to Knudsen. The company also announced the launch of ReVroom Pro — a dealership management suite that includes market data tools, on-site messaging to protect buyer privacy, and a local vehicle request feature that allows buyers to submit specifications to ReVroom's dealer network even before a matching vehicle is listed.
