Farmington, Utah — September 14, 2026

LoanPro announced results from an AI-native summary interface, built with AllCloud and Amazon Web Services, that lets loan servicing agents "talk to the loan" instead of piecing a borrower's account history together by hand during a live call. The company says the tool — powered by Anthropic's Claude — has cut customer call times by up to 15% for agents using it, while reducing internal support tickets and keeping a compliant record of every agent action.

The timing isn't incidental. LoanPro's Salt Flats Summit — the company's invite-only executive gathering out at the Bonneville Salt Flats — runs this week (September 16-18), and AllCloud is listed among this year's summit partners, alongside Mastercard, Stripe, AWS and others.

Filling in the guardrails

TechBuzz first got a detailed look at LoanPro's AI strategy in July, when Terry walked through the company's MCP-based AI Gateway — a system built, in his telling, around layered compliance guardrails that physically stop an AI agent from acting outside regulatory boundaries, no matter what it's been asked to do. Terry described it with an overhead-projector metaphor: stack every layer of regulatory obligation — CFPB, OCC, FDIC, card network rules, sponsor bank requirements — on top of each other, and what's left is the narrow overlapping space where a lender can actually act. That overlap, he said, is encoded directly into the API layer.

LoanPro's latest AI announcement appears to be a concrete expression of that same philosophy, just pointed at a narrower problem: agents drowning in account data mid-call. Rather than a general-purpose chatbot bolted onto the servicing screen, the AllCloud-built interface turns raw payment history, missed payments and returned fees into a plain-language borrower story, while logging a full audit trail of every action the agent takes — the same compliance-first instinct Terry described in July, now applied to a live, revenue-relevant workflow. LoanPro and AllCloud say they're already building additional Claude-powered agents to extend the approach elsewhere in the servicing pipeline, which tracks with Terry's stated intent to keep building AI tooling squarely within LoanPro's credit lane rather than expanding into deposit cores.

An AllCloud case study behind the release adds a bit more texture on the stack: the interface runs on AWS Nova models, Lambda, SQS and API Gateway alongside Claude, developed through the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center — suggesting Claude is anchoring the conversational and reasoning layer of a broader multi-model pipeline rather than doing everything itself.

The longer arc

LoanPro's road to this point traces back to three ranching brothers — Lloyd, Rhett and Ben Roberts — who built loan servicing software in 2008 to support their own car dealerships before spinning it into a standalone SaaS platform. The company's $100 million Series A in 2021, its first major outside capital, funded a new Farmington headquarters and a push to simplify lending software for banks, credit unions and fintechs across the U.S. and Canada. Since then, LoanPro has expanded into card products, direct bank and credit union relationships, and international markets, while drawing a clear line at deposit cores.

The servicing tool announced this week is a small, specific data point in that larger story: a Utah fintech using Claude not as a novelty layer but as infrastructure for a regulated, high-stakes workflow, and doing it in a way that ties directly back to the compliance architecture Terry described two months ago. It will be interesting to see what LoanPro shares about this new AI development, including perhaps harder numbers, exact ticket-volume reduction, agent adoption rates, as the Salt Flats Summit conversations play out this week.

In between lambo runs and monster truck rides on the salt flats, TechBuzz will cover it.
